First Batch Of Legends Tours Confirmed For 2019/20 Season

London Stadium tours have outlined their first set of Legends’ tours for the 2019/20 season.

Alvin Martin, Phil Parkes, Martin Allen, Tony Cottee and Alan Taylor will lead a tour of the venue, which also includes a Q&A session with the West Ham legend in question, and a personalised signed photo with each booking group.

Legends tours last two hours, and are priced at £40 for adults, £25 for juniors, with concession rates of £30 for students and over 65s.

Alvin Martin will lead the first legends tour of the season, with two windows open on Sunday 25 August (11am & 2pm). The former defender played just shy of 600 games for the Hammers over 21 years, and was part of the 1980 FA Cup winning side. He also represented England on 17 occasions, and has garnered a post-playing career as a pundit for both Sky Sports and TalkSport.

The next legend to lead a tour will be the returning Phil Parkes, on Sunday 15 September (11am and 2pm). The famed goalkeeper played alongside Alvin Martin in the Hammers’ FA Cup winning team, and was named as the Hammers’ all-time greatest ‘keeper by fans in 2003.

Popular Hammers legend Martin Allen can be relied on for quite the tour experience! Renowned in football for his vibrant personality and firecracker approach to the game, Allen made 190 appearances for the Hammers between 1989 and 1995, and has had a lengthy managerial career, beginning as assistant at Reading in 2002 and most-recently as Chesterfield Manager in 2018.

Martin will be leading his tours at 11am and 2pm on Sunday 29 September.

Tony Cottee has been a regular fixture for our Stadium tours, a favourite among fans who offers a unique insight into the Club. Tony will return this season on Sunday 10 November. His goalscoring record for the Hammers through the 1980s was almost beyond compare - registering 92 across his six years with the club, and all before turning 24.

He has since become renowned as a commentator and media personality, regularly behind the microphone for Sky Sports.
