West Ham United will be back in action at London Stadium on Tuesday night, as they look to kickstart the New Year against West Bromwich Albion.Â
Michail Antonio has yet to resume training after picking up a groin injury, while captain Mark Noble is also a doubt due to a hamstring injury.Â
The Hammers will also be without Edimilson Fernandes, Sam Byram and Jose Fonte, however, Reece Oxford is back from a loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach and is available for selection.Â
The Hammers currently sit one place and two points above West Brom in the relegation spots ahead of the match, but victory could see Â
West Ham are unbeaten in their last eight home Premier League games against West Brom, although the last four of those have been draws.Â
Manager David Moyes is hoping that the Hammers’ home form can help them climb the Premier League table going into 2018, after a controversial late equaliser denied his side a much-needed win at Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
"I think the most important thing for us is to focus on how we can get ourselves away from the bottom end," said Moyes.Â
"I don't like harping back to it but I think we might have been 13th if that decision had gone for us [at Bournemouth] on Boxing Day.
"It would have made us feel a lot better and our league position look a lot better.
"All we can do is focus on ourselves and keep our home form as good as we can as well. We need to win our home games,†he added.Â
West Brom will be without Nacer Chadli and James Morrison, whilst Salomon Rondon is a doubt with a hamstring problem.Â
